MindAffect, based in Ede, is a health technology company that specializes in objective diagnostics using the latest insights in neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, and artificial intelligence. Many common medical tests require the patient to respond consciously (for example, by pressing a button). This makes diagnosis difficult or even impossible for vulnerable groups, such as young children, older adults with cognitive impairments, or people with severe disabilities. MindAffects offers a technological breakthrough with its patented BCI/AI technology, Rapid CAEP®. This technology measures and analyzes the brain’s automatic and unconscious response to stimuli. As a result, the test results are completely objective and independent of the patient’s cooperation or feedback. Unlike existing objective measurement methods, MindAffect’s technology employs advanced methods to detect and filter out interfering artifacts. This eliminates the need for sedation. The result is a more inclusive healthcare system that provides fast, high-quality care for everyone.MindAffects’ first application of this technology is Sofi, the fastest brain-controlled system for hearing diagnostics. Sofi can accurately and comfortably determine the hearing thresholds of awake patients in about 10 minutes.Founder: Jennifer Goodall
