Lizz.Health developed Lizz, an AI-powered social companion that provides personalized, proactive support to vulnerable patients 24 hours a day and alleviates the burden on healthcare professionals. The solution is physically present with the patient and supports, among other things, daily structure, motivation, reminders, instructions, conversations, and distraction. Sensors and self-reporting are used to monitor health indicators. For example, Lizz is used during stroke recovery—both in clinics and at home—to improve adherence to treatment and give caregivers greater control. AI is applied to social interaction and personalization, in collaboration with academic and healthcare institutions. Location: Arnhem CEO/founder: Martijn Vastenburg
