From Clean Water to Smart Data – JiTiBa | Bas Emaus JiTiBa has developed an algae-based technology for treating wastewater. During the treatment process, valuable information is also generated about water quality, nutrients, and biological and operational processes. How can we translate that data into actionable insights for sectors such as agriculture and water management? And which digital applications offer new opportunities?2. From aquatic plants to soil: where are the opportunities? – Techmaps | Chris de Graaf Techmaps provides digital insights into the growth of aquatic plants through the Waterplanten.nu platform. The company maps growth, predicts trends, and offers tools for planning management and communicating about it. This is done at various levels: from maps based on historical open data and trends derived from satellite imagery to detailed measurements taken from boats, such as plant height and biovolume. Building on its experience in water recreation, the company is now increasingly working on ecological applications. What connections exist with the soil sector? And what opportunities are there for Techmaps’ applications and data within soil and water management? Will you join us? Register using the form. Do you have a challenge you’d like to present to the Soil Valley network?
