Humanoid robots are technically ready for use, but their practical application is lagging behind. This isn’t due to the technology itself, but to what’s needed to work with it: people, the right skills, and the extent to which organizations are ready for it. During the Campus Café “Hands on Humanoids,” you’ll delve deeper into what your organization needs to actually get started. The event kicks off with BREINN. BREINN is Breman’s innovation lab and accelerates AI and robotization transitions by bringing together people, strategy, technology, and collaboration. Breman is a technical service provider actively engaged in the practical implementation of digitization and robotization. They see firsthand where opportunities lie and where companies run into roadblocks when deploying new generations of robotics, such as humanoids.Next, you’ll gain insight from academic institutions, such as the University of Twente (Robotics Center) and Saxion University of Applied Sciences (SMART research group), into the skills, partnerships, and learning environments needed to get started with these technologies, using concrete examples from the region. Finally, you’ll get to work yourself: in small groups, you’ll collaborate with experts to address your specific situation and identify a first, realistic step.
Program
3:00 PM Doors Open Join us for a cup of coffee or tea and meet the Twente innovation community.3:15 PM Keynote by Patrick van Stokhem Patrick van Stokhem is Director of AI & Robotics Innovation at BREiNN and founder of APAIYA.
