Application AI-at-the-Edge & Edge-to-cloud
Applications include the use of AI for predictive maintenance, automation, production planning, waste reduction, energy efficiency, resource optimization, quality control, circularity and resource optimization.
Industry 5.0 & Human-Centred, Sustainable Production
Deploying Industry 5.0 and human-centred digitization for flexible production processes that promote a resilient industry.
TERESA (Technology Regulatory Sandboxes) Experiments: Develop TERESA experiments, leveraging existing Didactic Factories to explore human-AI interactions, regulatory and ethical issues. These experiments seek technical, regulatory and ethical validation.
Funding and Evaluation
Projects €100,000 can receive financial support, where 60% can be subsidized. This amount will be paid in two installments: 50% upfront and 50% upon completion.
Project proposals are evaluated on criteria such as Excellence, Impact and Implementation.
Submission and important dates
Deadline for submission: December 16, 2024 CET 12.00
Announcement of evaluation results: February 17 - 28, 2025
Implementation of projects: March 31 - September 30, 2025
