To scale up and professionalize EMS, it is essential to get the fundamentals right. Systems must be able to work together more effectively (interoperability) and function reliably and with digital security. This is not optional. The EU has laws and regulations governing cybersecurity, data, and AI. Sooner or later, EMS providers will have to comply with these requirements.
