HAN has 14 specific academies. AI and Applied Data Science receive attention in research and education across several academies, from a general technical perspective, domain-specific (e.g., "logistics"), and/or business perspective. Applied AI projects are carried out in various minors, and there is a part-time Master's program: the Master Applied Data Science (starting in September 2023). Additionally, AI is a prominent theme within HAN's focal point "Smart Region."
