Education

Everything indicates that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to transform education as well. AI holds tremendous potential to enhance the quality of education. But how do we harness these opportunities for all groups within the education chain? And how do we ensure we also consider the societal and social aspects? This can only be achieved through co-creation involving education, government, business, and residents of the Netherlands.

A common complaint is that current education often no longer meets societal demands. While many educational tools are already offered digitally, it is clear that much more is possible in this regard. Why aren't students routinely provided with curriculum that enhances their digital skills?

It is increasingly evident that the education sector is on the verge of a digital transformation, where AI could serve as a catalyst. However, it's crucial to handle this technology with care, especially within education.

Personalized Education

Meanwhile, it's clear that AI will play a significant role in educational innovation, logistics, and how stakeholders within and outside the education sector collaborate. AI can substantially accelerate the current trend toward personalized education by providing tailored support to students on their individual learning paths. Adaptive learning tools become even more valuable to students and teachers thanks to AI. Furthermore, the role of teachers evolves with the advent of AI. In short, AI has the potential to transform the entire education chain: from primary to higher education, in both public and private sectors.

The key question: how can we ensure that AI's potential is utilized for the talent development of all students, learners, and workers? And how do we shape the societal and social aspects of AI in education? This can only be achieved through collaboration involving educational organizations, research institutions, businesses, government, and residents of the Netherlands. Collaboration based on co-creation, with solid plans and swift implementation of concrete actions across the education chain. (Source: https://nlaic.com)
